About Allison
I have an authentic and direct counseling style. My non-judgmental and supportive presence quickly develops trust and safety in the counseling relationship. I easily relate to people of all ages and backgrounds and can gently direct them towards healthy change. I believe that it is my role as a therapist to provide a safe yet challenging environment that gently nurtures forth the genuine and happy self that resides in all of us.
I have worked as psychotherapist for the past 14 years, both overseas and in Florida. My primary experience is working with teens and parents, and I have worked in a variety of settings. My specialties range from Generalized Depression, Postpartum Depression, Teens and families, Addiction and Expat related problems.
Qualifications
Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from Florida State University and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology.
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
Masters Certified Addiction Counselor (MCAP).
Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida
Board Certified Tele-Mental Provider (BC-TMH)
